Investment. Construction. Real estate - 2006 :: The meeting place for real estate experts

The 11th edition of Russia's most significant international trade fair for investment, construction development and real estate, ICP-2006, took place from 24 - 27 April 2006 at Expocentr Krasnaya Presnya, the largest exhibition venue in Russia. The official event of the Moscow City Government was organised by Euroexpo.

235 exhibitors from 12 Russian Regions and 17 countries took part. These countries were: Austria, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, U.A.E. and Ukraine. ICP-2006 was held on a surface of 6,500 sqm.

Comprehensive parallel programme

One of the main attractions of ICP-2006 was the comprehensive parallel programme with renowned, international speakers.

The opening of ICP was marked by a press conference with prominent participants. Moscow's Deputy Mayor Yuriy Roslyak as well as Alexandr Kuzmin, Chief Architect of Moscow, welcomed both exhibitors and visitors. Munich's Mayor B?rgermeister Hepp Monatseder also took part in the opening ceremony.

The Investment Dialogue and the Architecture Dialogue were the main attractions of the Investor's Day. Both events were organised by Andreas Schiller, publisher of Immobilien Manager Magazine. Apart from these dialogues, an interregional forum, round table discussions and seminars also took place.

During the Investment Dialogue, representatives of investment companies wanting to enter the Russian market and enterprises that are already active in Russia and the CIS (like the international key player OBI Real Estate), talked about chances and developments of the Russian real estate market, administrative barriers, money-transfer options, market transparency and future rent-structures.

The Architecture Dialogue was characterised by discussions among architects about the differences between Russia and other European countries regarding the planning-process and the quality of architecture in Russia.

Office real estate, hotel real estate, commercial real estate and warehouse real estate were the topics of the Commercial Real Estate Day at ICP-2006. Project presentations and round table discussions were part of the Countryside Real Estate Day.
